Budget Month: Week 2
The budget continues here in New York City… but you know what I’m learning, you really can have fun within these parameters. Cheesy sure, but the truth. So, this week I’m bringing you two spots that you can check out together, a perfect pairing you might say. And don’t forget to submit your NYC requests on Friday in our stories on Instagram!
I’ve been meaning to check out Nudibranch’s happy hour for a while and I’m so glad I finally made it. Not only is it a great happy hour, not only are the people who work there lovely, but they also have it on the weekends! They have $10 cocktails, wine, and snacks. I didn’t get to have any food but I will be back. I had the best time there and met a whole group of people that I just pushed myself onto and they wound up buying me a round of drinks, budget indeed!
Sao Mai
Just four blocks north of Nudibranch is some delicious, Vietnamese, cheap eats at Sao Mai. I had a wonderful, warming bowl of vegetarian pho and it was only $15 bucks. Add in a beer, tax and tip, and my whole night only cost me $30 bucks thanks to my new friend at happy hour!
