Union Square Greenmarket & Jac’s on Bond
I know I need to stop talking about the weather BUT four nearly 80-degree days in New York City?! This is what we wait for all year long. Or at least, I do. As it is now officially spring and actually warm outside, it’s time for the Union Square Greenmarket! Help support your local farmers and get some delicious veggies while you’re at it. We’re so lucky to have access to this in NYC and don’t forget they also accept EBT, SNAP, etc. Local, sustainable, healthy food should be for all New Yorkers. If you can’t make it to the Union Square location be sure to check out one of the many other farmers markets in the city that may be closer to you.
Your request this week was, “somewhere to spot a celebrity”. And while I can’t promise you’ll see a celebrity at Jac’s on Bond, I can say I may or may not have seen one there myself ;). But of course, as New Yorkers, we try not to make a big deal of these things… On top of the possible celeb sightings, Jac’s on Bond happens to have a wonderful cocktail program and is run by some of the best people in the biz. Try the Caprese martini, a crowd fav!
