The Tippler & The Gagosian
How are we already halfway through season three?! But don’t worry, we’ll definitely be back for season four with even more fun New York stories for you. For our Rachel’s Recs this week we had a followers request that played in perfectly to my choice! Two excellent paces to enjoy on warm NYC days that are finally here. Don’t forget to check out our stories on Instagram every Friday to submit your own Rachel’s Recs request!
This week you requested, “somewhere to get to go drinks now that the weather is turning”, and while I think everywhere is allowed to have to go drinks again(??), one place I can heartily recommend is The Tippler in the basement of Chelsea Market. The only way to enter is from the entrance on West 15th Street, which is actually for the better because you get to avoid all the crowds inside! But once you get down there and order a drink, they can it and seal it so you can head out and get a lovely walk in. Which leads to our second recommendation…
Drink in hand, stroll north up 10th Ave. to Chelsea to check out the new Helen Frankenthaler show at the Gagosian. Make sure you go to their 541 West 24th St. location as they have many locations. This show is stunning- the use of color and subtle references to nature are a joy to view. Go out and grab a drink, see some FREE art, and have some fun!
Don’t forget you can have a custom New York City itinerary just like this, made specifically for you with our Curated Days!
