Grand Central Oyster Bar and Azaleas
Sometimes NYC is just firing on all cylinders and that time is now! People are ready to party, people are out, people are enjoying themselves and the city feels so electric. And that feeling led me exactly to my personal recommendation of the week. The second was a request from Instagram that happened to be perfect timing. This week I had the pleasure of going to Grand Central Oyster Bar and running into a group of friends celebrating a 95th birthday! The birthday girl was a born and raised New Yorker, no kids, never married, had her pilot’s license, and had been to all seven continents! These are the type of people you can meet, this is the type of fun you can get into in this town when you just go out and see what happens. This is all to say, go to Grand Central Oyster Bar and enjoy yourself a drink at the saloon in the back.
This week’s request was “somewhere to buy swimsuits now”. And having been in this predicament before, I can tell you not many places carry designer swimwear all year long in NYC. But Azaleas does! And, they happen to be having a sample sale this weekend at their location in the East Village. Go check it out!
