St. Jardim & grace land
Hooray, my friend went to Summer Streets for the first time in her 13-year New York life, so I’m retiring my Summer Streets Rec... until next year. But I’ve got two other spots I’ve been loving. Don’t forget, you can submit your NYC requests on Friday in our stories on Instagram.
I have been loving St. Jardim as of late. It’s a perfect little jewel box of a wine bar that gets pretty much everything right. I stopped in last week for dinner with friends who were in town and everything from the food, to the suggested wines, to the service, was flawless. On top of that, they’ve got the primo West Village location looking out dreamy floor-to-ceiling windows onto 10th St. They’re also open daytimes. So, if a croissant and laptop work is more you’re speed, they’ve got you covered.
Your request this week was for “new spots in Ridgewood”. And while not technically new, grace land on Woodbine is a recent fav! They’re a mix of vintage clothing shop and tailor service rolled into one, that also hosts pop-up markets with local vendors on select weekends in the summer! A few weekends ago I got a dynamite pink leather vintage moto jacket that I can’t wait to wear. As I always say, everyone’s interest is piqued with Ridgewood- here’s your perfect excuse to go check out a local store and then, yes, you can go to Rolo’s afterward.
