Rooftop Pool & Summer Streets
It’s officially the depths of summer in New York City and I couldn’t love it anymore. Yes, there have been some wild temperatures but it’s still great! And considering those high temps your request this week was very apropos. Rooftop Pool
Ok, we’re going the no-tagging route this week because… well, I don’t quite know if this is “allowed”, so try at your own risk! But, the new Virgin Hotel has a rooftop pool. And I just happened to notice how it is extremely close to their fourth-floor bar that is open to the public… So do what you will with that information!
It’s finally back, my favorite event of the year, Summer Streets! And it’s even bigger and better. This year it starts at the Brooklyn Bridge and goes all the way to 125th Street. And, that’s just the Manhattan one! There was a Queens Summer Streets this last weekend and there’s still a Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island to come. Get out there and bike or walk the car-free streets, it’s pure bliss for a New Yorker.
