The Warm Up & L’imprimerie

In a surprise to no one, Summer Streets was excellent last weekend! You have a few more weeks to get out on those car-free streets so make sure you go and take advantage. For our Rachel’s Recs this week, we have a great option to do some dancing and see some art at the same time. And for your request, the best croissant in NYC… controversial, I know! And don’t forget to submit your NYC requests on Friday in our stories on Instagram!

I had the pleasure of attending the Warm Up at PS1 last Friday and had a great summer evening. The Warm Up is truly such a fun time and feels like such a special NYC experience: live DJs blasting music in a giant courtyard of a contemporary museum in Long Island City… 🙋‍♀️! The season closes out on August 25th, so make sure you get your tickets now. Also, they have a bar to keep your night going!

Ok this week you asked for my favorite croissant in the city and I dont know if these was spurred by the recent Eater article listing the best croissants in the city but, I’m so glad you asked! What the hell was up with this list by Eater?! Truly concerned. BUT, if you do want to try my fav croissant which also happens to be the favorite croissant of Francophile, David Lebovitz, please go check out L’miprimerie in Bushwick. Flaky, buttery, cooked to perfection, and they come in the true Parisian wax paper sleeves! It doesn’t get better than that.

Don’t forget you can have a custom New York City itinerary just like this, made specifically for you with our Curated Days!
