Michael’s & Going Outside
We’re finally back for season six of our podcast and with that comes new Rachel’s Recs! First up is a spot I’ve been sitting on and finally need to share, and second is just what I’ve honestly been enjoying. Have to share the truth! Don’t forget, you can submit your NYC requests on Friday in our stories on Instagram.
You know how everyone is obsessed with classic NYC spots right now? Monkey Bar, Bemelman’s, etc… well, Michael’s would like to enter the group chat. Open since 1989, this midtown restaurant was/(is?) the hot spot for power, media lunches but should be on your radar for martinis at the bar now! Because you can actually get a seat at the bar. Throw in millions of dollars worth of stellar artwork on the walls, great staff, a real conversation pit at the front, and it just doesn’t get much better than this.
Going. Outside.
What can I say, it was nearly 70 degrees out last Sunday in New York City and it was simply glorious. As New Yorkers, we know there’s no greater change than spring arriving after a cold, long winter and all the possibilities it brings. So get out on a CitiBike, go for a walk, sit under a tree, leave without a scarf… the future is bright and sunny and it’s coming for us.
Don’t forget you can have a custom New York City itinerary just like this, made specifically for you with our Curated Days!
