What a weekend it was in NYC! 75 and sunny in November… terrifying yet, had to take advantage. Here’s our Rachel’s Recs for this week, go out and have some fun!
Strip House
This rec is not just for the restaurant (though sure, you can try that too) but this is specifically for all 24 layers of this decadent, very chocolate, delicious cake. And if you ask me, the best way to enjoy this is to have a seat at the bar, order a glass of champagne and a huge slice of cake and enjoy! Pro tip: if you can’t finish it all, take the leftovers for breakfast in the morning. 🤤
I don’t know why but when the crisp, fall air hits I get a yearning to visit an old-timey bar. And The Ear Inn delivers. All they way down Spring, almost to the water, this bar has been there since 1816. Go in the middle of the day, go at night, go with friends, go alone… go and get a pint and enjoy some NYC history.
