Sevilla Restaurant & Kissing Jessica Stein
This weekend I was finally lucky enough to get a seat at the bar at Sevilla Restaurant! This place is always packed with locals, no matter what time of day I come. But this weekend I “confronted” them and said, “Hey, you’re always here!” And they insisted we join them, a perfect NYC moment if you ask me.
Sevilla Restaurant
An institution in the West Village, this restaurant is family owned and has been there since 1936. The food is excellent but the people and atmosphere is even better.
A friend recommended adding not just places and events to our Rachel’s Recs but also NYC centric things. So, this week we’re featuring the 2001 rom-com, Kissing Jessica Stein. This movie is just early 2000’s New York City nostalgia like woah. The story has a bit of a twist plotline when a woman who has always dated men decides to look into the women for women section of the paper. That’s right, the paper. I love this movie! Go watch this weekend if you’re missing the city.
Don’t forget you can have a custom New York City itinerary just like this, made specifically for you with our Curated Days!
