Anddd we’re back with season five! An entire month has already flown by and it’s time to start hearing some new, fun NYC stories from our fabulous guests. But of course, with a new season comes new Rachel’s Recs. I thought it would be fun to choose your request this week based on the response that got the most engagement on our Instagram. Your request this week was for a brewery to check out and I’m specifically suggesting Finback in Glendale! The Glendale location is big, usually not crowded, has great beer, and is a good excuse to check out a neighborhood you don’t go to often. You might have to ride a bike or take a bus, but that’s part of the fun!
I had the pleasure of seeing this show two weeks ago and was floored by it. The portraits are what got me: intimate, tender, and beautiful. The artist’s love comes through and truly every piece was impressive. Henry Taylor: B Side is not to be missed!
