And we’re back after our little break for Fourth of July. We hope you’re having a great summer in the city so far! Two quick Rachel’s Recs for you this week- the first is from me because I had excellent Thai food on a bike ride recently and the second is your request for “only in NY”. I stopped at this Thai restaurant in Elmhurst while on a group bike ride with Ridgewood Rides and it was delicious! They had one veggie option which I loved and everyone else got a ton of different options that were all spicy and great. It’s a small spot where you can see them making the food and has a great vibe to it. Of note, cash only!
Your request this week was, “only in NY”, haha. So first thing that came to mind is this darling magazine shop on 37th St. This place just has so much going on that it screams only in New York to me. Every magazine in the world, fancy notebooks, hundreds of interesting pens, snacks, and you can play Quick Draw. I just love places like this and try to go in anytime I’m in the area. Check it out!
