It feels like Goods for the Study can only exist in NYC. A store solely devoted to specialty pens and some markers. They have everything from $100 pens to mini pencils that sell for $1. And right next door is their paper store. A perfect combination on a darling street in Soho.
This week’s listener’s request asked for “somewhere to take your wife if you’ve been an idiot”. This is the second time we’ve gotten something like this, what are the NYC husbands doing?! Well, the best thing to do is show you’ve put in the thought and care. So don’t just pick a fancy place because it’s expensive. You need Vinegar Hill House- located on a far off cobblestone street in Dumbo, you feel special just for finding it. But what you really want is their hyper-romantic fireside dining. A perfect location to grovel.
