How the process works

1. Get to know YOU

We start our event and group process with an informal Zoom meeting. During the meeting you can let us know everything about your event from size, budget, vibes, interests, and more!

2. Research/Planning

Now that we know more about you and the needs of your group, we’ll start researching all the venues and experiences that could work perfectly.

Given our extensive knowledge of New York City, we’ll consider your preferences, budgets, group size, and more before sending you a proposal of three options.

3. Your Curated Event

After you’ve received your options we’ll have an (optional) 30-minute Zoom consultation to discuss what would be best for you. After your selections have been made, we’ll get started on executing all management and communications with your choices from venues to guides!

4. Have fun!

With your event meticulously planned by They Had Fun, you can just show up and have fun!

And we’ll be available throughout the day to help with anything you need.

What can They Had Fun offer groups?

We can assist with all elements of planning an event, outing, or trip for a group. From large group dinner reservations to team-building options to engagement parties in the city, we have you covered!

Our group has a wide range of interests, is there something to please everyone?

Of course, this is New York City after all! We have planned events for groups of 5 to 40, for all sorts of events. And we always leave open the option for self-exploration during some of the time. Most importantly, New York City offers an array of fun activities that cover everyone’s interests.

Do you charge the same pricing for groups?

No. Our pricing for groups is customized to what you need. Large groups oftentimes require more work as large party contracts and such are usually needed. The number of people you have and the length of your event affect your overall price.

Why should we trust They Had Fun with our group experience?

Great question! Because we’ve been doing this for years with a successful track record. We’ve planned wedding events, 50th birthdays, baby showers, and beer crawls and all have been FUN!
